Annamarie E. Braga

Annamarie has a broad range of litigation and regulatory experience representing financial institutions, registered representatives and advisors, and other corporate clients in regulatory and enforcement actions, as well as in arbitration and litigation brought in state and federal courts and arbitration forums across the country.
Throughout the course of her career, Annamarie has primarily focused her practice on representing individuals and financial institutions in intra-industry and customer disputes brought in court and before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), where she has handled all aspects of litigation and arbitration. Her practice also involves representing both individual and corporate clients in regulatory enforcement defense matters in front of FINRA, the SEC, and state enforcement agencies. Annamarie’s practice also focuses on helping her clients navigate internal investigations, reporting requirements, and other regulatory issues present in the financial services sector.
In addition to these areas of focus, Annamarie also represents companies in commercial real estate disputes, complex civil litigation, and business disputes. Annamarie has extensive experience representing clients in commercial landlord/tenant disputes and contractual business disputes.
Annamarie is a graduate of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where she served as Symposium Editor of The Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution; won Best Overall in Ohio State’s Herman Moot Court Competition; was a member of the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Team through which she won Best Advocate and was a team finalist at the 2017-2018 American Bar Association’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition in Chicago; and worked in various litigation roles, including with the Columbus City Attorney’s Office, the Cincinnati Insurance Companies, for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Ohio, and as an extern to Chief Justice Maureen O’Connor of the Ohio Supreme Court.
